Marcia Foster has resigned as girls’ basketball coach at Garden Grove to join the women’s basketball staff at Arizona State, she said Tuesday.

Foster was 54-41 at Garden Grove, including 15-8 last year; the Argonauts shared the league title with Santiago.

She is the second woman coach from the Garden Grove League in less than a year to leave for a college assistant’s job; Kennedy’s Karen Caires Wolfe joined the staff at Vermont last June.
