A federal judge ruled in Kansas City, Kan., that the University of Kansas may legally prevent defensive tackle Alani Pahulu from playing his senior season because of concerns about his neck.
Pahulu sought an injunction after university doctors disqualified him from competition when he was found to have a narrowed cervical canal.
