The Business Week Ahead : ORANGE COUNTY

International Business Session: The World Trade Center Assn. of Orange County is sponsoring a symposium today on “Business Opportunities in Southeast Asia.” The full-day conference will cover the essentials of doing business in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Subjects will include legal and tax issues, manufacturing and joint ventures, and working with distributors and agents. The keynote presenter will be Hugh Coble, vice chairman of Fluor Corp. Also scheduled to speak are the consul generals of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand and a representative from Vietnam. The symposium will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine. The cost is $95 for members of the trade association and $125 for the general public.
