Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton Adds 4 Partners

Robert S. Beall, Steven W. Cardoza, Alan H. Martin and Perry J. Viscounty have been named partners in the Orange County office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton law firm. Beall is in the litigation department, Cardoza is a member of the banking and finance department as well as the real estate department, and Martin is a member of the banking and finance department. Viscounty is a member of the litigation department.

John Lamirande has been named vice president of manufacturing operations at Unit Instruments Inc., a manufacturer of mass flow controllers for the semiconductor industry. Before joining the company last year, Lamirande was director of instrument operations for Baxter Diagnostics’ Stratus division in Miami and director of quality assurance for its MicroScan division in Sacramento.

Mary Aileen Matheis has been elected 1996 chairwoman of the Legal Action Committee of the National Assn. of Realtors. She is owner of a Newport Beach firm specializing in residential real estate as well as an attorney.

Bill Armas has been appointed general manager of helmets for GT Bicycles Inc. in Santa Ana. He has more than 10 years of experience in bicycle helmet manufacturing, marketing and sales with Bell and Troxel.

John Faltys has been named vice president of development for GDI, a Newport Beach software company. He had been director of development for the company’s international banking system project since 1991.

Timothy Selchau has been appointed vice president/branch manager for the La Palma headquarters of Frontier Bank. He joined Frontier a year ago as vice president, commercial lending. Before that, Selchau was with Eldorado Bank in Tustin and Bank of San Pedro.
