Comarco Earnings Rise in Fourth Quarter

Comarco Inc., a provider of wireless communications products, reported record earnings for the fiscal year ended Jan. 31 on a 2% increase in revenue. Net income rose 18% to of $3.9 million, or 75 cents a share, from $3.3 million, or 68 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue increased to $69.8 million from $68.3 million.

Fourth-quarter net income totaled $1.2 million, or 22 cents a share, a gain of 20% from the $1 million, or 21 cents a share, for the comparable period a year ago. Revenue declined 9% to $16.8 million from $18.4 million.
