Dr. Kevorkian
* Re “Jury Acquits Kevorkian in Third Assisted Suicide Case,” May 15: Maybe now that a third jury has acquitted Dr. Jack Kevorkian of being a murderer people will finally leave this dear, kind and gentle man alone.
I think the message has been sent loud and clear that he is not a criminal and does not deserve to be treated as one. God bless Jack Kevorkian and I hope he lives a long, long time and stays healthy and may even be around when and if I ever need him.

* I see where Kevorkian was again acquitted. Brings to mind the observation John Jay made many years ago when he said, in effect, that any lawmaker’s actions that do not take into consideration the people for what they are will prove abortive.
