Microsemi Corp.: The Santa Ana semiconductor company reported net income of $2.3 million, or 28 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended June 30, 35% higher than the $1.7 million, or 21 cents a share, posted for the same quarter a year ago. Revenue was up 14% to $41.3 million from $36.1 million. Net income for the first nine months increased 37% to $5.6 million, or 68 cents a share, from $4.1 million, or 50 cents a share, in the first three quarters a year ago. Revenue rose 20% to $115.7 million from $96.2 million.
