Cigarette Sales Ban

* I applaud Target Stores for its incredible decision to stop selling cigarettes (Aug. 29). We can only hope that this is the start of a trend and that cigarettes will soon become a plague of the past.

I also applaud the president and the vice president and urge them to not soften their stance or back down. We have the ball rolling; let’s not lose the momentum. A smoke-free future can be ours if the work continues.
