Political Mailings
In your Aug. 27 piece on the annual $6-million taxpayer rip-off through tax-funded mailings, professor Larry J. Sabato, citing our politicians’ endless ingenuity, asserts, “There will never be a way to design a law to keep [mailings] from being abused.” The solution is a no-brainer: Make them put a stamp on every piece of mail they send out.
