Woman’s Finger Bitten Off by Landlord in Dispute
Associated Press
NEW YORK —
A woman’s right ring finger was bitten off by her landlord during a dispute at a two-family house they shared, police said. Thomas Darius, 50, and tenant Sonia Gonzalez, 40, were arguing at the Brooklyn home Monday, said police spokesman Doram Tamari.
Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated and released. A hospital spokesman would not say whether doctors were able to reattach the finger.
Darius was arrested on charges of assault and trespassing.
