Microsemi Corp.: The Santa Ana semiconductor company reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $3 million, or 33 cents a share, 30% higher than the $2.3 million, or 28 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended June 29 increased 3% to $42.6 million from $41.3 million. Net income for the first nine months rose 30% to $7.3 million, or 83 cents a share, from $5.6 million, or 68 cents a share, for the prior-year period. Sales advanced 3% to $119.1 million from $115.7 million.
