Outreach Ministries to Hold Summer Festival

In an effort to make their presence known more widely in the community, the 9-month-old Eagle Rock chapter of Victory Outreach Ministries will sponsor a summer festival Saturday with the theme of deterring youths from gangs and drugs.

Billed “Saving Our Streets,” the event will feature music, food booths and children’s activities such as face painting. The festival will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of the ministry at 4160 Eagle Rock Blvd.
