Opposition Bombs Hotel, Killing 4

An opposition forces jet bombed a hotel in Kabul, the capital, where the ruling Taliban army was putting up guests. Four people were killed and three others wounded, hospital officials said. Taliban soldiers cordoned off the bombing site and stopped vehicles at checkpoints. Meantime, at least 20 international aid workers pulled out of Kabul as the opposition closed in.
