Caylan Leslie

Corona del Mar, Sophomore; Tennis

Leslie was one of four county players to win titles at last weekend’s Ojai tournament, where she rallied to defeat Ojai’s Jieun Jacobs, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2, in the girls’ 16 singles final. Leslie, who lost only one set in the tournament, reached the girls’ 16 singles final last year at Ojai but lost to Palm Desert’s Jennifer Baker.

Jamie Cail/Swimming

* Marina, junior. Broke Janet Evans’ 200 individual medley relay meet record by more than a second, finishing with a time of 2 minutes 4.70 seconds at Saturday’s Foothill Swim Games.

Jessica Edwards/Softball

* Orange Lutheran, sophomore. Pitched a perfect game with 12 strikeouts in a 3-0 victory over Cerritos Valley Christian.

Katie Rorem/Track and Field

* Marina, senior. Broke the county record in the pole vault, clearing 12 feet 1 inch in a Sunset League meet against Esperanza.
