* Carey Avenue: Report of loss of property valued at $1,000 Nov. 27 in the 1400 block.

BUENA PARK

* Manchester Boulevard: Someone smashed a car’s rear passenger window and stole two speakers, a Sony Discman and 30 compact discs sometime before 6:18 p.m. Sunday in the 6000 block.

* Orangethorpe Avenue: A thief entered an unlocked camper and stole software and a lap top before 5:49 p.m. Sunday in the 7500 block.

COSTA MESA

* Paularino Avenue: Officers investigated a report of a stolen car in the 500 block about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

* Hamilton Street: A caller reported a hit-and-run crash with property damage near Maple Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

CYPRESS

* Ball Road: An auto theft was reported at 3:04 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 5500 block.

* Lincoln Avenue: A $600 bass guitar amplifier was stolen from a gray Dodge Ram van in a burglary reported at 5:36 a.m. Saturday in the 5300 block.

* Salisbury Lane: A radio and Christmas gifts were stolen from a 1991 teal Honda Accord in a burglary reported at 1:07 p.m. Sunday in the 9600 block.

* Del Rey: Report of a robbery alarm at 9:34 a.m. Sunday in the 35000 block.

* Stonehill Drive: Report of a traffic collision, injury unknown, at 3:48 p.m. Sunday on Palo Alto Street.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Warner Avenue: A man stole two bottles of Jack Daniels from a liquor store in the 10100 block at 9:41 p.m. Saturday.

FULLERTON

* W. Las Palmas: A residential burglary was reported at 10:34 a.m Nov. 27 in the 400 block.

* Associated Road: A residential burglary was reported at 11:41 a.m. Nov. 27 in the 3000 block.

* Grissom Park Drive: A 1985 brown Dodge minivan was reported stolen at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 28 in the 1500 block.

GARDEN GROVE

* Madison Circle: A man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after police say he stabbed his mother, father and brother Nov. 25 in the 9700 block. The three were taken to UCI Medical Center where they were treated for minor injuries.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Main Street: A man reported that he was assaulted when he left a bar in the 500 block at 1:58 a.m. Sunday.

* Eighth Street: A 1992 Mazda was stolen from in front of a residence in the 500 block before 10:28 a.m. Sunday.

IRVINE

* Montgomery: A stereo, compact discs and glasses were reported stolen from a Toyota Forerunner at 9:41 a.m. Monday.

* Silveroak: A vehicle break-in proved unsuccessful for a would-be burglar, who left behind a smashed rear window and a damaged stereo face plate at 7:55 a.m. Monday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* North La Senda Drive: Police investigated a burglary of a pickup truck near Vista del Sol reported Monday about 9 a.m. The victim said a stereo, skateboard and gift certificates were taken.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Laguna Hills Mall: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 1:43 p.m. Saturday in the 24000 block.

* Hidden Hills Road: A report of a burglary with an audible alarm at 5:57 a.m. Saturday in the 24000 block.

LAKE FOREST

* El Toro Road: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 3:09 a.m. Sunday in the 21000 block.

* W. Imperial Highway: A petty theft was reported at 2:42 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block.

* E. Frantz Avenue: Someone reported hearing shots fired at 5:26 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block.

LA PALMA

* Moody Street: A male transient was reported “acting kind of strange” near a school in the 8100 block at 8:01 a.m. Tuesday.

* Walker Street: An adult, not a student, exited a vehicle at a local high school in the 8200 block and hit two students and then left the scene at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Bradbury Road and Los Alamitos Boulevard: A motorist was injured when he ran into a light pole at 2:39 p.m. Monday. He was taken to UCI Medical Center.

* Reagan Street: A mountain bicycle was stolen from a residence at 2:43 p.m. Monday.

* Crown Valley Parkway: A report of a robbery with an audible alarm at 8:26 p.m. Saturday in the 27000 block.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East 15th Street: A burglar broke into Newport Heights Elementary School by forcing open a classroom window. About $212 worth of items were taken, sometime before 7:30 a.m. Monday.

ORANGE

* East Glendora Avenue: Police arrested a motorist for misdemeanor drunk driving at 10:40 p.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* Ortega Way: A report of an attempted burglary at 7:03 a.m. Sunday.

* South Richfield Road: A report of a commercial burglary at a storage center at 2:53 p.m. Sunday; customer’s storage shed burglarized, $2,200 in personal belongings lost.

* Holmes Avenue: Theft from vehicle reported in the 600 block at 8:17 a.m. Tuesday; loss of $2,600 worth of equipment from vehicle.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Vaquero: Report of a robbery alarm at 6:30 a.m. Sunday in the 500 block.

* Avenida Del Mar: Report of a robbery alarm at 8:14 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block.

* Calle Perfecto: Report of a robbery alarm at 11:44 a.m. Sunday in the 33000 block.

* West 1st Street: Someone stole a purse with $830 inside at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 26 in the 2000 block.
