Michael Jenco

* May I congratulate The Times and writer H.G. Reza on the wonderful article on World War II veteran Michael Jenco (Dec. 24). I was too young to do my part in that war and through history books, the History Channel and stories like this, we the citizens of the United States can now be aware of the thousands of unaccounted young men who gave their lives to make this country safe for us to live in.

It’s a shame that Jenco had to live with this story for all of these years. But, maybe now the full truth will come out and we can pay our respects in some way or another.
