Amplicon Inc.: The Santa Ana-based company said net income for the second fiscal quarter climbed 32% while revenue rose 10%. The company, which leases high-technology capital assets, posted net income of $5 million, or 40 cents a share, up from $3.8 million, or 32 cents a share, for the like period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to $82.2 million from $74.4 million. First-half net income gained 29% to $9 million, or 73 cents a share, from $7 million, or 59 cents a share, for the first six months of the previous year. Revenue rose 15% to $162.2 million from $140.9 million.
