Channel 4, 11 a.m. PDT

Site--The Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, Mich.

Radio--KLAC (570).

Records--Sparks 6-11, Shock 10-9.

Update--The Sparks arrived in Auburn Hills on Friday evening hopeful of success on a trip that also takes them to Cleveland and Washington. The status of Lisa Leslie, who sat out Thursday’s game because of assorted injuries, won’t be known until game time. Little was expected from the Shock at season’s start, but point guard Korie Hlede has become a rookie-of-the-year candidate and former ABL player Cindy Brown trails only Leslie and Utah’s Elena Baranova in rebounding. The Shock leads the league in rebounding. Detroit lost its first four games, but then won six in a row. The Shock has won three in a row. The Sparks had lost three of four before overcoming a 16-point, second-half deficit Thursday to defeat Phoenix, 70-68.
