LAGUNA NIGUEL
The City Council this week approved about $70,000 to buy three new vehicles from Allen Oldsmobile/GMC. The parks and recreation department will replace its 8-year-old van with a 1999 GMC Savana extended passenger van for $24,491. The city may keep the old van for equipment transport.
The public works department will replace its 7-year-old trucks with a four-wheel-drive, extended cab Sonoma truck for $20,116 and a four-wheel-drive Jimmy 4 Door truck for $25,451.
