SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
A “mini-park” in downtown will get a face-lift today from the Boys & Girls Club of Capistrano Valley, city employees and council members.
Officials approved adding landscaping and benches for the park after merchants, led by local landscape architect Ted Hannegan, asked the city to create a place where visitors could meet friends or take a break from shopping.
The children from the Boys & Girls Club will begin planting at 3 p.m. The park is at Camino Capistrano and Yorba Street. Information: (949) 493-1171.
