ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim supplier of communications equipment incurred a net loss of $3.9 million, or 54 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter ended Sept. 30. A year ago, the company reported net income of $215,000, or 3 cents a share, including $1.3 million in income from ATL Products Inc., which was spun off to Odetics shareholders in October 1997. Revenue was unchanged at $22.1 million.
