Dealership May Leave for Larger Location

The Rusnak car dealership, famous for selling Porsches, Jaguars and Mercedes-Benzes to some of Pasadena’s wealthy, is looking to relocate from a series of sites along Colorado Boulevard to a central location.

General Manager Ron Taylor said the car dealership needs more space and may leave the city.

Since last year, Rusnak has stored new cars in the basement of a city-owned parking garage. In recent weeks, the city has agreed to allow Rusnak to store up to 350 cars at the parking structure in Pasadena.

But Taylor said that is not a long-term solution. Rusnak officials are seeking the city’s help in trying to acquire an east Pasadena site on Foothill Boulevard next to the Foothill Freeway.
