Thursday is the deadline to nominate residents for outstanding community involvement. Examples of outstanding work can come from business-school partnerships, volunteer programs, leadership, community service activities and innovative programming. The awards will be presented by Mayor Miguel A. Pulido Jr. at the “Celebrate Santa Ana” event on May 13, 2 to 6 p.m., at the Downtown Artist Village on 2nd Street, between Broadway and Sycamore Street.
