Swept the weight divisions for the second consecutive year at the Orange County Championships, winning the shot with a put of 57 feet 10 3/4 inches and the discus with a throw of 187-5. In a dual meet against Los Alamitos two days earlier, Lightbody, who will play football at Washington State next season, set a personal best with a throw of 192-0 in the discus.
