Taiwan
First was the dispatch from Beijing playing to the Chinese desire for annexing Taiwan (“Special Harmony Between China, Taiwan,” Aug. 6). Now comes “A Family Straddles 50 Years of Taiwan-China Division” (Aug. 18), on the ideological differences between Chinese family members in Taiwan.
We look forward to the report on the current reality of 85% of the real Taiwanese people, who were there when the Chinese came with the military force.
