Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., a Los Angeles-based metals processing company with operations in 20 states, agreed to buy closely held Liebovich Bros. Inc. to expand into the Midwest. Terms weren’t disclosed. Rockford, Ill.-based Liebovich Bros., which had 1998 sales of $130 million, makes carbon steel products and has facilities in Rockford and in Wyoming, Mich.
