Wash, Rinse--and Repent

Now you can turn your shower into a confessional booth with new Wash Away Your Sins soap. Made from a blend of Somalian frankincense, Indonesian nutmeg, ginger and vegetable soap base, the cleanser claims to be “tested and approved for all seven deadly sins.”

Simply lather vigorously, rinse and repent, say the instructions on the box. Or, for vulgarities, “insert in mouth, scrub, spit out and flush with water.”

When used properly, the box says, the $8.50 soap bar “reduces guilt by 98.9% or more.” But the package does carry a warning: “Keep out of reach of hardened criminals.”
