Andrew S. Grove

Andrew S. Grove is chairman of Intel Corp. He co-founded the company in 1968 and was named its president in 1979 and its CEO in 1987.

Grove has written more than 40 technical papers and holds several patents on semiconductor devices and technology. For six years he taught graduate courses in semiconductor device physics at UC Berkeley. He is a lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

In 1997, Grove received the “Technology Leader of the Year” award from IndustryWeek magazine and was named Time magazine’s “Man of the Year.”

Sue Herera is anchor of CNBC’s “The Edge” and co-anchor of “Market Wrap” and “The Money Wheel.” She also serves as a credit and futures market reporter and covers the stock and options markets.

Herera, who has been with CNBC since its inception in 1989, previously was an anchor with Financial News Network.

She holds a bachelor’s in journalism from Cal State Northridge.

Maria Bartiromo

Maria Bartiromo is co-anchor of CNBC’s nightly “Business Center” program. She also covers breaking news from the network’s New York Stock Exchange bureau during its “pregame” financial show, “Squawk Box.”

Bartiromo joined CNBC in 1993 after five years as a producer and editor with CNN Business News.

She also writes columns for Individual Investor and Ticker magazines.

She is a journalism graduate of New York University.

Arthur Levitt

Arthur Levitt has been chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission since 1993.

Levitt previously headed the New York City Economic Development Corp. and the American Stock Exchange.

Before accepting the Amex chairmanship, he worked for 16 years on Wall Street. From 1969 to 1978, he was president and director of Shearson Hayden Stone Inc., whose predecessor firm he joined as a partner in 1962.
