Burr Is Picked to Lead Division of Wyle Systems

Geoffrey Burr has been named general manager for Wyle Systems’ Branded Products division in Irvine. He was formerly director of the personal computer business unit at Data General and has held senior positions at Power Computing, Tadpole Technology, Digital Equipment and Leading Edge Corp.

* John Hiraoka has been appointed senior vice president of marketing for Epicor Software Corp. in Irvine. He had been senior vice president of business development.

* Michael R. Rodriguez has been named interim chief financial officer and senior vice president of Tickets.com Inc. in Costa Mesa. He succeeds John M. Markovich, who resigned to work for an Internet start-up company. Rodriguez had been corporate controller. The company said it will conduct a search for a permanent replacement for Markovich.

* Gary Hansen has been appointed first vice president, responsible for managing California Federal Bank’s new Southern California dealer corporate services group in Fountain Valley. Before joining CalFed, Hansen was a senior vice president with Bank of America, managing its Southern California dealer-lending business from Anaheim.
