Hewlett-Packard Deal Buoys Emulex Shares

Emulex Corp.’s stock moved up Thursday after the Costa Mesa company said Hewlett-Packard Co. will use the company’s fiber-channel adapters for HP’s servers and storage system. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. The stock rose $1.38 a share to $42.50 during the trading session.
