Revolutionary Mexican
Re “Modern Mexico Unleashed” (by Lorenza Munoz, April 8):
The arrival of filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s “Amores Perros” is the best news in over half a century for Mexican film lovers, especially for those of us who had been longing for a cinematic artist from Mexico determined to reveal the life and drama of our people. That he has captured international fame and attention is a breath of fresh air as powerful as a strong hurricane from Baja California’s shores to Hollywood.
