Wizards Hand Fusion Its First Defeat

Chris Brown and Mo Johnston scored three minutes apart as the Kansas City Wizards beat the Miami Fusion, 2-1, Wednesday night.

The Fusion (2-1) struck first when Alex Pineda Chacon put a deflection past Wizard keeper Tony Meola in the 72nd minute.

The Wizards (2-1) tied it one minute later on Brown’s goal.

Kansas City took the lead five minutes later when Johnston scored.
