Terra Lycos Taps Killeen

Terra Lycos turned to Web veteran Stephen J. Killeen to run its U.S. division, hoping his experience will boost the global Internet giant after several high-level departures. Killeen, 38, is best known as the former president and CEO of financial Web site Raging Bull, which was acquired by AltaVista, then purchased by Terra Lycos last month. Terra Lycos is controlled by Spanish telecommunications giant Telefonica. Telefonica’s American depositary receipts rose $1.08 to close at $49.49 on the NYSE.
