Digital Imagination Merges With Venture Media Group

Thousand Oaks-based Digital Imagination has acquired Venture Media Group, a video and film production company based in Ventura.

The merger of the two companies, which combines Digital Imagination’s focus on Web design and interactive multimedia with Venture Media’s pre- and post-production capabilities, allows the new company to produce all segments of client projects in-house.

“Digital Imagination is the only visual media company in the area with full in-house production,” said Craig Manning, the company’s creative director. “While most design firms subcontract for film and video shooting, post-production and other vital functions like animation, Digital Imagination produces every piece of every project in-house to ensure consistency, quality and budget compliance.”

With the acquisition, the company moved to a 6,000-square-foot facility at 351 Rolling Oaks Drive in Thousand Oaks.
