Report on Ocean Water at Central Library

Monica Mazur, a county environmental expert, will report on the county’s ocean water quality Thursday at the central library.
Mazur, who is the supervising environmental specialist for the county’s Health Care Agency, is among the main speakers for the county Coastal Coalition.
Other topics will include the Marine Life Protection Act, coastal cleanup, the county’s watershed plans, and a legislative review of coastal bills in Sacramento. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. The library is at 1000 Avocado Ave.
