Re “The Biology--and Destiny--of Bullying,” March 14: If Debra Niehoff is attempting to blame bullying for the school violence that is presently taking place on many of our school campuses, I think she is barking up the wrong tree. Schools have always had bullies. In addition, when individuals are fed up with being picked on, their hostility is generally directed toward the bully, not innocent bystanders. I am sorry, but the anger and rage that these young perpetrators are carrying goes far beyond the cruel antics of a bully.
