NQL Cuts 8% of Workers Over Past Two Months

NQL Inc., an Internet networking and consulting services company, said Friday that it has laid off 8% of its 200 employees in the past two months, reducing its software division personnel by a third.

The Santa Ana company, formerly known as Alpha Microsystems, said in a press release that the job cuts are aimed at concentrating on sales to equipment makers and on product development. The company did not provide further details.
