Plan aims for business space, housing by USC
The Board of Commissioners of the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency has approved variances allowing construction of a five-story apartment and commercial building across from USC.
Plans call for 15,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, with 120 apartment units on the upper four floors. The apartments would be targeted to USC students.
Each of the residential floors will have its own lounge, recreation and laundry rooms. The building will also include a pool, two spas and a gym. Conquest Housing, a 10-year-old minority-owned firm specializing in urban apartment complexes, will construct the building.
