22 Coal Miners Killed in Blast

A coal mine explosion in northern China killed 22 people and injured six, the official Beijing Morning News reported. Fifteen were rescued unharmed after being trapped for three hours. The state-run mine, called Yakeshi, is in northern Inner Mongolia. About 7,000 people were killed in Chinese mine accidents last year, state media said.
