Three seniors at the Air Force Academy were charged Friday with using Ecstasy and other drugs, an embarrassing blow for the troubled school just days before a visit by top brass.

According to the academy, cadet John-Paul Doolin was charged with three counts of using Ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms and Ketamine, an anesthetic used on animals and humans that is a popular club drug. He also was charged with distributing pills containing an Ecstasy derivative.

Another cadet, James M. Long, was charged with lying about the illegal use of drugs as well as using cocaine.

All three cadets could face prison time and dismissal from the Air Force if they are convicted.
