Deputy Found Guilty of Destroying Evidence

A sheriff’s deputy was convicted Friday of destroying evidence in an internal investigation against him, the district attorney’s office said.
Lynn Rogers, 31, could receive six months in jail for the misdemeanor. Rogers was a deputy at the Airport Courthouse, and is on unpaid administrative leave.
Rogers was being investigated after a female inmate accused him of inappropriate conduct.
