European Solution to Prescription Drug Costs

I found it most unfortunate that The Times failed to place the article “Illinois Plans to Tap Into European Pharmacies” (Aug. 18) on the front page. In doing so, it might have given some impetus to our governor to take similar steps to reduce the cost of prescription drugs. The time has come to drop the party lines and join the growing tide of progressive states that are moving toward an equitable solution to this horrible situation.
