PUC Approves Plan to Link Power Substations

The California Public Utilities Commission has approved a $200-million Pacific Gas & Electric power line project linking substations on a 27-mile stretch between Redwood City and Brisbane.
The project has been opposed by many Peninsula residents concerned about the possible health effects of the electromagnetic fields emitted by the power lines.
