11 Juvenile Offenders Caught in Police Dragnet

A dragnet centered in North Hollywood and Sun Valley caught 11 juvenile offenders who had failed to appear in court to face charges such as burglary.
The sweep began at 6 a.m. Thursday and hit more than 30 locations, said Los Angeles Police Officer Dan Fournier, who led the effort. During the course of the day, 45 officers seized spray paint cans, knives, billy clubs, a .40-caliber handgun and a .22-caliber rifle.
