Unfettered Foxes
Re “Safe Seats in House Keep True Races Rare,” Oct. 11: Allowing members of the House to draw their own congressional districts is tantamount to allowing the foxes to guard the henhouse. Now, with these new sophisticated computer programs carving ever more illogical and odd-shaped districts, we have finally reached the point where, rather than having voters select our politicians, our politicians get to select their voters!
