Man Sought in Death of Girlfriend’s Baby
Police were searching Thursday for a Santa Ana man accused of fatally abusing his girlfriend’s 8-month-old son while he cared for the infant.
Jorge Delgado, 24, is a suspect in the death of Erick Alvirio, said Santa Ana Police Sgt. Carlos Rojas. “The baby had significant physical injuries,” he said.
The woman found the baby was not breathing when she returned to her home on Fairview Street. She called police and Delgado fled, authorities said.
