Transamerica Investment Management, a Los Angeles-based unit of Dutch insurer Aegon, said Thursday that four portfolio managers had resigned from the firm’s equity team.

Jeffrey Van Harte, Christopher Bonavico, Kenneth Broad and Daniel Prislin had managed some of Transamerica’s Premier Funds and separate and sub-advised accounts. Spokeswoman Elizabeth Grice said their departures were voluntary.

Kirk Kim and Ed Han will be responsible for small- and mid-cap growth and multi-cap strategies starting today. Kim has worked for the firm since 1997, and Han joined in 1998.
