Flouting the Rules on Immigration
In the April 20 article, “Filibuster Ends U.S. Senate Debate on Farmworker Legalization Bill,” farmworker Nicolas Morales said: “I think it’s a very good opportunity for all of us. This is just a game. The growers need us to do the work, but we need to hide that we don’t have papers.” This is no game!
Illegal aliens cost taxpayers billions of dollars every year. Passing any legislation allowing illegal aliens to stay here without securing our borders just invites millions more to violate our laws and sovereignty. The next terror attack on our soil may well result from our porous borders.
If Morales doesn’t want to “look over his shoulder” then he should come here legally like millions have already done. As my grandparents did. The fact that he can admit he is breaking our laws and have his name published in a newspaper proves that our laws are just a joke to him and other illegals.
