Re “We’re Gobsmacked by Another British Invasion,” Commentary, March 22: I’m not going to go all argy-bargy on this commentary. All I’ll say is that Timothy Kenny is balmy if he thinks he can blather on. His comments regarding the creeping Britishisms entering the press are daft, and one would think he is all mouth and no trousers.

Kenny can chuff off as much as he wishes, even though he seems to have made a dog’s breakfast of his arguments. I have sussed out that he is a bilgy blighter and probably has a face like a bag of spanners. Excuse me while a go have snifter and watch the Beeb on the telly.
