A Riverside County kindergarten teacher arrested in class this week on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance had 13 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside her home, the Sheriff’s Department said Friday.

Lynne Filippini, 47, faces possible counts of cocaine possession, being under the influence of a controlled substance and child endangerment.

The district attorney’s office asked the Sheriff’s Department to conduct a further investigation after Filippini’s arrest Tuesday, a sheriff’s spokesman said.
